About Me:

Design for me has always been an introspective and conceptually exploratory endeavor. I love engaging with a brand and exploring all the ways they can be represented by a few symbols and precisely shaped letters. There is a staggering power to be found in simple expression when it comes to logo design and branding. You are essentially finding ways to condense all the multi-faceted structures and personalities that comprise an organization, into a unique and easy-to-consume symbol. This is even harder to do with individuals. It almost feels disingenuous to boil down all the things that comprise a person and their vision into a single symbol, but the challenge and victory of helping someone find their face is the most gratifying experience.

This is why I became a graphic designer.

I have been working in graphic design since 2013, before I had actually graduated college. My first clients were student organizations, friends, and even some professors. I was blessed enough during that time to intern with Matice Interactive in Salisbury, MD, where I honed my skills, designing logos and branding for many local organizations. I graduated Cum Laude in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from the Fulton School of Art at Salisbury University. Since then, I have balanced freelance design work with the pursuit of mastering the printing arts by working with some of the most exceptional print and sign businesses in both Southern Maryland and Northern Colorado.

In my free time I enjoy craft beer, horror movies, audiobooks, and playing guitar and bass.
